MADISON, WI – gener8tor, in partnership with the Wisconsin Medical & Society (WMS) and WisMed Assure, will host the inaugural OnRamp Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
More than 500 industry leaders and innovators are expected to participate in a first-of-its-kind conference that will provide a broad and honest look at the future of healthcare. Attendees at the one-day conference will include executives from healthcare organizations, health plans, hospital systems, health insurance payer groups, and self-insured corporations, as well as healthcare startups, investors and clinicians.
“In times of great change it is critical for forward-thinking organizations to partner on bold steps to tackle systemic problems. By partnering with gener8tor, the Wisconsin Medical Society amplifies the voices of Wisconsin physicians as we work to empower clinicians, reduce the cost of care, and increase healthcare access. The OnRamp Healthcare Conference is a call to action for all health care stakeholders to support the next generation of disruption and innovation, or risk being caught on the wrong side of history,” said Peter Welch, Vice President of Membership and Communications.
As part of gener8tor’s sucessful OnRamp Conference Series, the OnRamp Healthcare Conference will feature a full-day of conference programming in addition to curated, one-on-one pitch sessions between selected startups and corporate venture capital, innovation and HR executives from over 20 participating corporations including Abōva, Inc., Advocate Aurora Health, Ameritas, CUNA Mutual, HSA Bank, Marshfield Clinic, Mutual of Omaha, Northwestern Mutual, Pfizer, RGA and WEA Trust.
Headlining the event’s plenary session is Aneesh Chopra, former Chief Technology Officer of the United States, who will keynote on patient-led data sharing, implications of new HHS rules, and how these new paradigms are disrupting healthcare. OnRamp Healthcare partner and sponsor Dr. Tim Bartholow of WEA Trust says, “We think the innovator community with the new data transparency rules will encourage patients to own their own data, and for coordination of their care to start even before they get to a system.”
“gener8tor is privileged to work with the Wisconsin Medical Society and WisMed Assure to amplify creative, entrepreneurial solutions for meeting the needs of patients and caregivers. Our goal for the OnRamp Healthcare Conference is to serve as a lighthouse for the leaders and visionaries developing new technologies and business models to reinvent healthcare delivery,” said Troy Vosseller, gener8tor Co-Founder.
The OnRamp Healthcare Conference will feature three tracks:
Conference Track: More than 20 speaking sessions that fall within the categories of Empowering Clinical Teams, Reducing Costs and Improving Access to Care.
