For that, IT is involved in a wide spectrum of activities ranging from software development, data center management to security and project management. Within the applications space we are managing hundreds of applications from ERP and large databases to custom web services, APIs and mobile; on the infrastructure side we are constantly looking to onboard new technologies into our data centers like: virtualization, solid state drives, power shell automations; security is an increasing area for us trying to stay current in our ability to defend our data and systems. We are committed to continuous learning and improvement embracing the principles of lean and six sigma in all that we do. We believe also in the importance of innovation and IT’s unique role into bringing more innovation into the business, so we have an innovation room where we try new technologies like: robots, beacons, IoT, 3D printers, chat bots, etc. looking for opportunities to embed those into our IT and business processes.
